Corona claims 2 more lives in Jharkhand on Tuesday, total deaths 1,038 now

151 new cases detected, 255 cured too

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 2 more life on Tuesday taking the total number of deaths due to the pandemic to 1,038 in the state. On Tuesday, 2 deaths was reported in the state. 1 death was reported by Hazaribagh and 1 by Ranchi district.

The recovery rate in the state is at 97.87%, while the mortality rate is at 0.89%.

As per official data, 151 new cases have been detected in the state on Tuesday, taking the number of total infections to 1,15,840. Out of these, 1,13,380 have already been cured. On Tuesday too, 255 patients have been cured and discharged.

For now, the state has 1,422 active cases of coronavirus infection, while the deaths have reached the figure of 1,038.

Till date, 48,67,430 samples have been tested in the state.
