No corona death in Jamshedpur on Thursday, total deaths 374

32 new cases, recovery rate 97%, positivity rate 4%, mortality rate 2.2%

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus did not cause any death in Jamshedpur even on the 9th consecutive day. However, 32 new coronavirus positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum district, taking the total number of infections in the district to 17,224.

On the other hand, 32 patients have also been cured and discharged. Till date, the number of recovered persons has reached 16,542.

According to official data, the number of active coronavirus infection cases have come down to 208. However, 374 persons have already lost their lives to the pandemic.

No death caused by the pandemic for the 9th consecutive day is a good news that confirms a certain decline in the pandemic in East Singhbhum district.

The positivity rate in the district has now come down to 4%, while the mortality rate hovers around 2.2%. Recovery rate is still stuck at 97%.

According to health department reports, 2,833 samples were collected on Thursday. Out of these 32 samples were found positive.
