No corona death in Jamshedpur on Sunday

Total death toll remains at 374, mortality rate 2.2%, positivity rate 4.1%, recovery rate 97%

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus spared Jamshedpur on Sunday as it did not claim any life in the city. The total death toll due to virus remains at 374.

On Sunday itself, 19 fresh cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the district, taking the total number of infections in East Singhbhum to 17,101.

On the other hand, 15 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals. Total number of recovered patients has reached 16,552 in the district.

According to official data, the recovery rate for the city remains at 97% and has not seen much of a change for quite a few days. On the other hand, mortality rate too remains hovering at around 2.2%. The positivity rate is at 4.1%.

As per the numbers made available by the district administration, a total of 4,17,014 samples have been tested in the district till Sunday. Out of these, 17,101 samples have tested positivity, while, 399,913 samples have tested negative.
