Corona kills 7 in Jharkhand on Sunday, total deaths reach 986

92 new cases, 134 cured, recovery rate 97.47%, mortality rate 0.91%

Jamshedpur: Sunday proved to be a pretty bad day for Jharkhand as it lost 7 lives to coronavirus pandemic. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic has now reached 986.

According to official data, 92 new positive cases of coronavirus infection were also detected in the state. With this, the total number of infections in the state has now reached 1,10,278.

On the other hand, 134 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals of the state. The total number of recoveries in the state has now reached 1,07,496.

As per official data, a total of 43,36,774 samples have been tested in the state till Sunday.

The recovery rate in the state has now reached 97.47%, while the mortality rate has risen to 0.91%.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-hit district of the state. Today, 1 death was reported from the East Singhbhum district.
