Seraikela: The number of active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has now dropped to 35 only. The number of total deaths caused by the pandemic remains at 12 as no new deaths have been reported during the last few days.
According to official data, the district has tested a total of 1,56,009 samples till date. Out of these, 3,596 samples have tested positives hile 1,50,453 samples have tested negative.
Even out of the positive tested patients, 3,549 have already been cured, while 12 have succumbed to the infection.
For now, the district has only 35 active cases of corona infection.
On Saturday, 588 samples have been collected. Till date, the test results of 2,103 samples are still awaited.
Experts feel that Seraikela-Kharsawan district has done well to contain the pandemic, keeping the fact in mind that the worst-hit district East Singhbhum is adjacent to it.
