16 new positive cases, 63 cured, recovery rate 96%, mortality rate 2.2%
Jamshedpur: After claiming 3 lives on Tuesday in Jamshedpur, coronavirus has relented on Wednesday as it did not cause any death. The total death toll for the city remains at 367.
According to official data, on Wednesday, 16 new coronavirus positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum district. With this, the total number of coronavirus infections in the district has reached 16,473.
On the other hand, 63 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine. The total number of recoveries in East Singhbhum district has now reached 15,780.
According to official data, for now, the total number of active cases in East Singhbhum is only 326 and it is coming down too.
East Singhbhum has tested a total of 3,39,453 samples till date. Out of these, 3,22,980 samples have tested negative, while 16,473 have tested positive.
The recovery rate in the district has now gone up to 96%, while the mortality rate remains at 2.2%. The positivity rate is 4.9%.
