Corona claims 8 more lives in Jharkhand on Thursday, total deaths 775

Ranchi: Coronavirus has taken 8 lives in Jharkhand on Thursday.

According to official data, on Thursday 784 fresh cases of coronavirus infection were detected in different parts of the state, including Ranchi and Jamshedpur.

In all, 32,092 samples were tested all over the state. Among these samples, 2.44 pc samples were found positive and in terms of numbers 784 more persons were found infected.

Till date, 25,38,755 persons have been tested in the state, out of which 90,486 have tested positive.

On the other hand, 80,439 patients have also been cured and discharged form different parts of the state. However, the state has also seen 775 patients succumbing to the virus.

For now, the state has 9,272 active cases. On Thursday, 8 deaths were reported from different districts. Ranchi reported 5, while Bokaro, Palamu and Ramgarh too reported 1 death each.
