Coronavirus ends 1 more life in city on Thursday, total death toll 321

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus killed 1 person in the city on Thursday taking the total number of deaths 321. 165 new positive cases have also been detected in the district.

According to officials data, one more patient has died of coronavirus in the district on Thursday. The deceased was a 74-year-old resident of Baharagora. After his condition deteriorated, he was being brought to MGMCH, but he succumbed to the virus on the way. Later, the body was kept at MGMCH and was tested for corona. The report showed that the deceased was positive for covid-19.

The deceased had some co-morbidities too. With this, the total number of deaths due to covid-19 in the district has climbed up to 321.

On Thursday, 165 more corona positive cases were found in the district. Among these are included employees of hotels, cloth shops and ration shops. 4 staff members of a big hotel in Sakchi have tested positive, Another hote of Sakchi had 4 staff members test positive too. Two employees of a famous fast food restaurant too have tested positive.

Two staff members of a cloth merchant in Jugsalai have tested positive too. 6 staff members of a Chanachur seller in Mango have tested positive. Similarly, 17 shopkeepers of Chakulia too have tested positive.
