Banna Gupta pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri

Jamshedpur: The Health Minister of Jharkhand Banna Gupta today garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and offered floral tributes to him on Gandhi Jayanti at Gandhi Maidan. The Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar and the SSP M Tamil Vanan were also present on the occasion.

The Health Minister Banna Gupta paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and also paid flowers to a picture of Lal Bahadur Shashtri.

Speaking on the occasion, Banna Gupta said that it is a day when we should all resolve to follow the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri.

He said that it was only owing to their ideals that the country has achieved such progress. He also remembered the “jai jawan, jai kisan’ slogans of the former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shashtri and said that our jawans are securing our borders and we all are proud of their valour.
