Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Chhatra Morcha organised a big protest against fee hike in Lal Bahadur Shashtri Memorial College at Karandih, Jamshedpur.
On the instructions of the Kolhan president of JCM, the members the student organisation today held a protest in front of the principal Dr. Amar Singh’s chamber.
The protesting students also apprised the principal with the problems that the students and parents have been facing in the wake of Corona pandemic.
They said that any fee hike at this stage is objectionable and the fee hike decision should be withdrawn immediately.
They said that without taking the student representatives into confidence no fee hike decision should be imposed.
They said that if the fee hike decision is not withdrawn immediately JCM will launch a massive agitation.
Meanwhile, the principle of LBSM College Amar Singh said that admission fee would collected on the fee structure of last year and the admission fee of those who have been admitted would be adjusted during admission in Plus 2 classes.
Those who demonstrated included Central Vice President of JCM Md. Sarfaraj, Kolhan Secretary of JCM Pappu Yadav, Kolhan vice-president of JCM Rajesh Murmu and district president of JCM Krishna Kumar Kamat.
