MLA Saryu Roy too offers prayers on Nand Utsav Day
Jamshedpur: ISKCON celebrated Nand Utsav on the ISKCON Mandir premises on the second day of Janmashtami.
The Jamshedpur East MLA also went to the Mandir and offered prayers.
ISKCON organises Nand Utsav on a grand scale every year. But this year the celebrations were muted due to Corona and only a limited number of devotees reached the Mandir and offered prayers.
Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy was among those devotees. He said that he too prayed in the Mandir to Bhagwan Krishna and wished prosperity for the state and the country.
The priest said that it is a grand event every year, but this year the celebrations have been muted.
