Covid-19 kills another woman in Jamshedpur on Sunday, city death toll 33 now

Jamshedpur: Covid-19 has taken yet another life in Jamshedpur taking the death toll for the city to 33 now.

A 68-year-old woman from Baridih has died due to Corona on Sunday. She was admitted in the hospital with breathing difficulties.

According to information received, she was earlier discharged on July 18 last. She went home.

However, she was not keeping well and her condition deteriorated again. She was brought to TMH and admitted again.

She was found Covid-19 positive on July 23. She was being treated for Corona, but succumbed to complications on Sunday.

On Saturday Corona had killed 5 persons in Jamshedpur.

Meanwhile the administration has appealed to the people of the district to continue maintaining social distancing, not venture out of their houses unnecessarily and keep washing their hands regularly.

The state government has also made wearing of masks mandatory and has warned that those who do not wear mask in public would be penalised.
