CBSE announces 12th board results, 10th results soon

Jamshedpur: CBSE today announced the 12th grade results today. The results for 10th grade are expected to be announced on 15th of July or before that.

The students who appeared for their 12th and 10th board exams experienced quite an unusual way of getting their results due to the pandemic this year. Normally, the results are always announced around the start of May but due to the special circumstances this year, there was a big delay caused by uncertainties over holding the exams for the students and for their results to be finally declared.

On 10th of July, 2020, ICSE and ISC results were declared after the Bombay High Court asked the Council to mark students with a fair methodology for the papers they were not able to write because of the lockdown in the country.

For CBSE this wasn’t a big issue because the only exam which could not be conducted for the students was the optional computers exam for the 10th graders.

Nevertheless, today CBSE announced its 12th board results.

Around 88.78% of the students have passed the 12th board exams this year.

In Bangalore the average result of the students is about 97.05%. In Thiruvananthapuram the average result of the students is around 97.67%.

Coming to Northern parts, in Delhi the average result is around 94.39%.

This year more than 10 lakh students have managed to pass 12th board exams
