7 deaths in Jharkhand in one day as Covid-19 wreaks havoc, state death toll now 31

80 more test positive for Covid-19 in state, total now 3760, active 1421

Ranchi: Jharkhand lost seven (7) lives on one day due to Corona as the disease starts wreaking havoc in different parts of the state.

Three persons have died in RIMS, while one succumbed to Covid-19 in TMH. One died in Godda and one in Hazaribagh district.

Meanwhile, 80 more persons have tested positive in the state taking the number of total infections to 3760. For now, there are 1421 active cases in the state.

In all 2308 people have been cured and discharged in the state. Today itself 45 more patients were cured and discharged in different parts of the state.

Seeing the rise in the numbers, several districts have started imposing curbs on activities to slow down the spread of the disease.
