17 new Covid-19 cases in East Singhbhum on Wednesday, total 600

Jamshedpur: 17 more persons have tested positive in East Singhbhum district on Wednesday. With this the total number of people testing positive in the district has reached 600.

Out of these 17 new cases, only five have a travel history, four to New Delhi and one to Bangalore. Rest 12 have had no travel history.

Of these 17 cases, one is from Bagbera, one from Bistupur, five from Tinplate, one from Telco, two from Kadma, one from Sonari, one from Chakulia, two from Sidhgora, one from Baridih and one from Parsudih. One person was quarantined in GT Hostel, Telco.

All these positive persons are now being admitted in the Covid ward of local hospitals.

The district administration is concerned at the rise in the number of new cases, especially of those with no travel history. The administration has reiterated its appeal to the people to comply with all the necessary precautions.
