JAC to declare matriculation results on July 8

3,87,000 examinees to get their results on Wednesday

Ranchi/Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Academic Council would declare the Matriculation examination results on July 8, Wednesday in the presence of education minister at JAC Auditorium.

The JAC chairman Arvind Prasad today said that no formal function would be held on the occasion and all the results would be published through website.

The matriculation and intermediate exams were held between February 11 to 28.

Normally the results are announced by April end. But, Covid-19 and subsequent lockdown delayed the results. The evaluation work started late and so results were also delayed.

There matriculation results would be announced by the Academic Council on Wednesday through its website.

In all, there were 951 exam centres arranged for the matriculation exam this year. 3.87 lakh examinees have written the exam and are awaiting results. Last year, the number of examinees was 4,40,892.

Sources said that the results of Intermediate would be declared any day after July 8. All the results are ready and only need to be uploaded and declared on the website.

In all, 2,34,363 examinees have written the intermediate level exam conducted by JAC.
