Worker crushed to death in mixture plant

Jamshedpur: A worker, identified as Ranjeet Gohil, died in an accident during the construction of Mahulia-Jamshedpur four lane road near Galudih on Sunday.

Sources said the incident happened around 4.30 pm when Gohil was working at the site under Iron Triangle India Limited.

Gohil, a native of Gujarat, was on duty at the mixture plant of the company. He was reportedly trying to remove a stone with the help of a crow bar when he got stuck in the machine and succumbed to critical injury, sources said.

Gohil was rushed to Ghatsila Sub Divisional Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. Local MLA Ramdsas Soren, SI of Police Santosh Sen and Galudih SHO Prabhat Kumar also reached the scene.
