Lions Club gifts sanitary pad vending machine to Graduate School College for Women

The Graduate School College for Women in Jamshedpur receives a sanitary pad vending machine from Lions Club, enhancing student welfare.

JAMSHEDPUR – A significant step towards promoting female hygiene was taken at the Graduate School College for Women, Jamshedpur, with the installation of a sanitary pad vending machine.

The initiative is a collaboration between the National Service Scheme and Lions Club, Jamshedpur Steel City.

Lions Club members, including Secretary Sunita Mitra, Vice President Ripa Dutta, and Pushpa Singh, presented the vending machine.

The college’s acting Principal, Professor Doris Das, expressed gratitude for the donation.

She highlighted the machine’s anticipated positive impact on student hygiene practices.

NSS Program Officer Dr. Sulekha Kumari and Professor Nisha Kongari led the program’s organization.

The event saw attendance from various faculty members and a significant number of students.

This contribution by the Lions Club marks a noteworthy effort in supporting female health and empowerment at the college.
