Seraikela: The active number of coronavirus infection cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district is slowly receding as it has now come down to 234.
According to official data, a total of 1,04,957 samples have been tested in the district. Out of these, 98,873 samples have tested negative. 3,279 samples have tested positive.
Meanwhile, 3,036 patients have also been cured and discharged in the district till Saturday. In all, 9 persons have succumbed to the coronavirus infection.
For now, the district has 234 active cases of corona infection. The test results of 2,539 patients are still awaited. On Saturday, 944 samples were collected in the district.
The district has 8 quarantine centres, however no one has been housed in any of these centres yet.
