Jamshedpur DM Leads ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ Camp Initiative

District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri Champions Welfare Schemes in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur’s Hurlung Panchayat witnessed active participation in the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, led by District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant push for government welfare schemes, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri personally visited the camp in Hurlung Panchayat, Jamshedpur Sadar Block.

This visit was part of the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program, aimed at bringing the government closer to the people.

Bhajantri engaged with villagers, assessing their access to government schemes, and urged them to submit applications.

As per state government directives, these camps in panchayats are connecting people with various welfare schemes.

The program, spanning from November 24 to December 26, includes camps in 8 panchayats and 1 municipal body across 8 blocks.

Bhajantri’s visit to Hurlung Panchayat aimed to inspire and guide villagers in availing of these schemes.

He thoroughly inspected stalls at the camp, gathering information about the applications received.

Bhajantri directed officials to provide detailed information about the schemes to villagers and assist them in connecting with these services.

Public representatives, including Panchayat Samiti members, were present to support the initiative.

He noticed a significant crowd at the Abua Housing Scheme stall and instructed officials to stay until all applications were processed.

Bhajantri also addressed villagers’ land concerns for house construction.

He distributed assets and fruit plants among beneficiaries, highlighting various schemes like Guruji Credit Card Scheme for financially struggling students.

The DM emphasized schemes like Chief Minister Livestock Development, Employment Generation, Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, and others.

Bhajantri’s objective is to inform and connect people with these schemes through such programs.

Departmental officers and workers were tasked with guiding villagers in application processes.

Bhajantri interacted with applicants, ensuring smooth processing and entry into the portal.

The camp offered services under the State Government’s Guarantee of Service Act, including certificates, social security, and universal pension schemes.

Efforts were also made to address unorganized sector worker registration, land dispute cases, and public awareness about welfare schemes.

On Saturday, December 16, 8 panchayats and 4 municipal bodies of 7 blocks will hold ward-level camps under the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program. Through these camps, government welfare services would be delivered to rural and inaccessible communities through panchayat-level camps.
