Karim City College Cadets Joined Awareness Drive on World Ocean Day

JAMSHEDPUR – NCC cadets of Karim City College carried out a river cleanup campaign at Domuhani on World Ocean Day.
The programme was organised under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan 2026.
Meanwhile, the campaign was conducted at the riverbank in Sonari.
A total of 52 cadets participated in the activity.
Moreover, 32 Senior Division cadets joined the campaign.
Twenty Senior Wing cadets also took part.
The volunteers cleaned riverbanks and surrounding areas.
Furthermore, they spread awareness about environmental protection.
The importance of water resources was also highlighted.
Additionally, participants encouraged people to keep water bodies clean.
The programme was conducted under staff supervision.
Two PIA staff members guided the cadets.
Meanwhile, awareness sessions were held during the campaign.
Cadets were informed about environmental responsibilities.
They were also educated on cleanliness practices.
Moreover, discussions focused on protecting natural resources.
The campaign was supervised by Major Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmad.
He monitored the activities throughout the programme.
