Naval Tata Hockey Academy announced the achievement on February 4. The Jamshedpur-based academy expressed pride in Roshan’s accomplishment. Moreover, the institution reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young talent.

Roshan joined the academy in 2019 as a young cadet. He trained there until 2023 with consistent discipline and dedication. In April 2023, his performance earned him selection at NCOE Lucknow.

However, his latest achievement represents his most significant milestone yet. The selection demonstrates the strong foundation built during his NTHA years. Furthermore, it validates the academy’s training methodology and coaching standards.

Roshan becomes the 8th player from Naval Tata Hockey Academy selected nationally. The academy has previously contributed three cadets to the Indian Sub-Junior Team. Additionally, this record reflects sustained excellence in player development programs.

Gurmeet Singh Rao serves as Project Director at Naval Tata Hockey Academy. He expressed immense pride in Roshan’s selection for the national camp. “Roshan’s journey from a young sub-junior cadet has been inspiring,” he said.

On the other hand, Rao emphasized the cadet’s discipline and hunger to learn. He noted Roshan’s growth through the ranks with sheer dedication. Moreover, watching his progression to Junior India Camp proved truly rewarding.

The academy continues playing a pivotal role in developing grassroots talent. It guides young players toward national excellence and international platforms. In addition, NTHA’s vision focuses on producing nationally competitive players.

The institution has consistently demonstrated its effectiveness in talent identification. It provides comprehensive training facilities and experienced coaching staff to cadets. Besides, the academy maintains strong connections with national selection committees.

The Hockey India Junior Men TOPS program identifies promising young players. It provides them with world-class training facilities and expert coaching. Meanwhile, the National Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru offers state-of-art infrastructure.

The training camp will focus on skill enhancement and tactical development. Players will undergo intensive physical conditioning and match simulation exercises. In contrast, they will also receive sports psychology and nutrition guidance.

Naval Tata Hockey Academy has established itself as a premier training institution. It has contributed significantly to Indian hockey at various age levels. The academy’s alumni continue representing the nation at international tournaments.

The entire NTHA family congratulated Roshan on his selection. They wished him success at the upcoming national camp. However, they also acknowledged the hard work of coaching staff behind him.

The academy’s training program covers all aspects of modern hockey. It includes stick work, tactical awareness, and game intelligence development. Moreover, it focuses on building character and leadership qualities in players.

Roshan’s selection comes ahead of important international youth tournaments this year. The camp will help prepare selected players for these competitions. Besides, it provides exposure to national-level coaching methodologies and training standards.

The academy continues accepting young talent from across the region. It provides scholarships and residential facilities to deserving players. Additionally, NTHA maintains partnerships with schools for academic support to cadets.

Previous NTHA cadets have successfully transitioned to senior national teams. Several alumni currently play in professional leagues domestically and internationally. Furthermore, some have represented India at major tournaments including Commonwealth Games.
