JAMSHEDPUR – The Additional District Judge-3 Nishant Kumar has sentenced two Amarnath gang members to three years in prison for orchestrating a dog attack.

The convicts used a German Shepherd to assault five youths. The incident occurred near Post Office Road Mango.

Meanwhile, proceedings continue against another accused. Gang member Shantilal Singh died during the trial period.

Case Details

The victims were returning from Jubilee Park. The gang forcibly stopped their motorcycles.

Moreover, seven witnesses testified in the case. Their statements proved crucial for conviction.

Investigation Findings

The gang operated systematically in the area. They targeted young men under false pretexts.

Furthermore, a police patrol interrupted the attack. Similar incidents had occurred previously.

“The verdict sends a strong message,” noted a law enforcement official. The remaining accused await trial.
