JAMSHEDPUR – Lakhinder Ho, a resident of Turamdih UCIL quarters, passed away at TMH hospital after suffering critical injuries from a bike accident.

The accident occurred about 10 days ago when Ho was traveling from Sunder Nagar to his residence. A speeding car collided with his motorcycle from behind, leaving him severely injured. He was immediately rushed to TMH, where he was under intensive care before succumbing to his injuries on Sunday.

Police have taken custody of the body and sent it to MGM Medical College for post-mortem examination. This case adds to a rising number of road accidents reported in the Sunder Nagar region, highlighting growing concerns about vehicular safety and speed regulation.

A local source mentioned, "The road leading to Turamdih has seen several accidents in recent months. Reckless driving is a major issue." According to data from local authorities, such incidents have increased by 15% compared to last year.

Meanwhile, the grieving family has appealed for a thorough investigation into the incident and stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent further tragedies.
