JAMSHEDPUR – A 10-year-old differently-abled girl was allegedly assaulted in Khuntadih area of Sonari police station limits.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening. The victim had stepped out to play.

A local youth targeted the minor. The suspect has been identified as Deep Machua, aged 23.

"We noticed something was wrong when we found blood stains," said a family member.

The victim’s family rushed her to MGM Hospital. Medical professionals are conducting necessary examinations.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation. The suspect remains at large.

Moreover, law enforcement has registered a case. They are conducting searches in the area.
