JAMSHEDPUR – South Eastern Railway unveils plans for 31 Puja Special trains to meet increased demand during the 2024 festive season.
The special services will commence in September 2024.
Moreover, these trains aim to facilitate travel during Durga Puja and Diwali celebrations.
Key routes include Kolkata-Puri, Shalimar-Chennai, and Gondia-Patna.
Additionally, services will connect Ranchi, Secunderabad, and Ajmer.
The Kolkata-Puri Special will operate weekly from October to November.
Meanwhile, the Shalimar-Chennai Special will run every Monday starting September 30.
SER spokesperson emphasized their commitment to smooth travel during festivities.
Furthermore, the railway has carefully planned these services for maximum convenience.
Passengers are advised to book tickets well in advance.
