JAMSHEDPUR – A comprehensive workshop on research methodology and paper writing commenced at Sona Devi University, Ghatshila, aiming to enhance scholars’ research skills.

The three-day event attracted Ph.D. researchers from various institutions.

Chancellor Prabhakar Singh welcomed attendees to the inaugural ceremony.

Dr. N. R. Mrinal, Head of Psychology at Nagpur University, delivered the keynote address.

He emphasized research’s crucial role in driving societal progress.

"Research work is the foundation of development," Dr. Mrinal asserted.

The expert guided scholars through key research stages.

He explained problem selection, hypothesis formulation, and study design.

Dr. Mrinal also delved into essential statistical techniques for data analysis.

These included mean, median, mode, and various statistical tests.

Vice Chancellor Dr. J.P. Mishra highlighted research’s importance in academic advancement.

Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Gulab Singh Azad provided an overview of research methodology stages.

The workshop’s second session featured paper presentations by research scholars.

An interactive Q&A segment followed, allowing experts to address methodological queries.

"This workshop is invaluable for honing our research skills," remarked a participating scholar.

The event continues until September 11, promising more insightful sessions.
