Ranchi: coronavirus has taken one more life on Monday in Jharkhand. This one death was reported from Ranchi district. With this the total number deaths caused by Corona virus in Jharkhand till Monday has reached 1,073.
According to official data, 42 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Jharkhand on Monday. The total number of infected persons in the state till Monday has now reached 1,18,734.
On the other hand, 81 persons infected with coronavirus were also cured and discharged on Monday in Jharkhand taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,17,142.
The state has tested 52,25,096 samples till date. Out of these only 1,18,734 samples have tested positive.
The state, for now, has only 513 active positive cases. As per official data, the recovery rate for Jharkhand till Monday was at 98.66%, while the mortality rate hovers around 0.90%.
East Singhbhum district remains the worst affected district in terms of positive cases as well as number of deaths.
