Champai Soren Reflects On Brief Tenure As Jharkhand CM

Former Leader Expresses Satisfaction With Work Done In Short Period

Soren pledges continued public service despite stepping down from office.

JAMSHEDPUR – Champai Soren, who recently resigned as Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, reflected on his brief tenure during a visit to his Seraikela assembly constituency.

"I would have done more for state development if given more time," Soren stated to the media.

The JMM leader highlighted various public welfare schemes initiated during his nearly five-month tenure.

"We brought schemes for people of all castes and communities," he emphasized, expressing satisfaction with his accomplishments.

Soren noted that Jharkhand’s development since statehood hasn’t met expectations.

"Whatever decision is taken in the party, it has to be accepted," Soren remarked, pledging continued public service.

Reports suggest Soren reluctantly resigned on July 3, concerned about the timing before upcoming elections.

"Whether in office or not, I will continue to serve the public," the former CM affirmed.

Soren’s comments highlight the challenges of short-term leadership in state governance.

His commitment to public service underscores ongoing political dynamics in Jharkhand.
