A herd of around 25 wild elephants is reportedly camping in the Chhotki Bairgi forest area of Dumri, triggering concern among nearby villagers.
The Forest Department has issued a safety advisory, urging residents to avoid going out after sunset, maintain a safe distance and stay away from crowds around the elephants.
⚠️ Officials have also warned people against approaching the herd to take photos or videos.
