Officials Order Strict Entry Checks, Increased Patrolling; Zero Tolerance for Malpractice

Key Points:

  • SSP and DC jointly inspect JTET 2026 exam centres across Jamshedpur unannounced
  • Orders issued for strict entry checks, patrolling and malpractice-free conduct
  • Drinking water, toilets and seating arrangements reviewed for candidate comfort

JAMSHEDPUR – The Senior Superintendent of Police and the Deputy Commissioner jointly conducted surprise inspections of multiple JTET 2026 examination centres across Jamshedpur, reviewing security arrangements, centre preparedness, and facilities available to candidates appearing in the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test.

The two senior officials visited all major examination centres in the urban area one by one. They gathered information from magistrates, police officers, and other personnel deployed at each centre.

Both officials issued clear instructions that conducting the examination in a peaceful, fair, and malpractice-free environment was the top priority. Strict checking at the entry gates of all JTET exam centres was ordered. Personnel were directed to keep a close watch on suspicious activities and take immediate action against any irregularities detected.

Arrangements for drinking water, toilets, and seating were also reviewed. Officials directed that candidates should face no inconvenience of any kind during the examination.

The SSP instructed all police officers to remain on high alert throughout the exam period. Increased patrolling around the centres was ordered to ensure full control over law and order. Meanwhile, the DC directed centre superintendents to maintain transparency in exam conduct and follow the prescribed guidelines strictly.

The administration made it clear that any attempt at malpractice or rule violation would not be tolerated. Strict action, it was stated, would be taken against those found guilty. The joint inspection was seen as a strong signal of the district administration’s commitment to the successful and fair conduct of JTET 2026 in Jamshedpur.
