JAMSHEDPUR – Swami Sahajanand Saraswati’s 137th birth anniversary will be celebrated on March 22 with a multi-session program and community gathering in the city.

The event is being organised by Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Kalyan Sansthan, Jamshedpur, following a press conference announcing program details. The briefing was addressed by the organisation’s president, Deepu Singh, who outlined the schedule and objectives.

Meanwhile, the celebration will begin at 10 a.m. and will be conducted across four structured sessions. The programme will bring together members of the Brahmin community, identified as Parshuram descendants, from Jharkhand and Bihar.

In contrast, the first session will focus on Swami Sahajanand Saraswati’s life, ideology, and social contributions. Moreover, a discussion on delayed marriages, including causes and solutions, will also be held.

However, the second session will host a workshop on social harmony. Leaders from various communities in Jamshedpur are expected to participate in this segment.

Meanwhile, the third session will include felicitation of individuals for achievements in education, sports, health, and employment sectors. The organisers stated that outstanding contributors from these fields will be recognised.

On the other hand, the fourth session will feature cultural performances by artists from Jharkhand and Bihar belonging to the community. The programme will conclude with a collective dinner in the evening.

Moreover, several members including Jaykumar, Siyaram, Ritik, Sudhanshu, Nikhil, Krishna, Shiv, Ashish, Alok, Kartik, Rakesh, Rajiv Tiwari, Rajiv Rajkumar, and Gopal were present during the press interaction.

Meanwhile, similar community commemorations in the city have included events such as unity march events, tribute ceremonies, and community-led anniversaries. In addition, institutions have marked milestones through programs like educational commemorations and local celebrations.
