JAMSHEDPUR – Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari inaugurated Jharkhand’s first sickle cell anemia testing laboratory at Sadar Hospital on Wednesday.

He also opened 100-bed pre-fabricated hospital ward. Deputy Commissioner attended the inauguration ceremony. Civil Surgeon participated in the event.

Several MLAs remained present during proceedings. The state-of-the-art laboratory started operations immediately. Patients can now access testing facilities.

However, Kolhan region residents will benefit primarily. Other Jharkhand districts’ patients gain access. Sickle cell anemia sufferers receive major relief.

The new testing facility marks significant achievement. Advanced equipment enables accurate disease detection. Jamshedpur becomes healthcare hub for region.

Meanwhile, 100-bed pre-fabricated ward addresses capacity. Bed shortage problem gets resolved effectively. Patients won’t face accommodation difficulties anymore.

Earlier, critical patients required referrals elsewhere. MGM Medical College Hospital received most cases. Now treatment becomes possible at Sadar.
