SAFE Conducts Road and Fire Safety Session for Students

600 Participants from 29 Schools Attend Training Program

JAMSHEDPUR – Safety Awareness for Everyone conducted a comprehensive training session on road and fire safety for students at Kerala Samajam Auditorium on Sunday.

The program attracted 600 participants from 29 schools. Students, parents and SAFE coordinators attended together. Moreover, the initiative promotes innovative safety awareness methods.

Nandini Shukla inaugurated the session on Sunday. She serves as principal of Kerala Samajam Model School. Additionally, Saroj Kumar Banerjee participated in the opening ceremony.

Banerjee holds the position of Safety Raw Materials Division chief. He works with Tata Steel in this capacity. Furthermore, he encouraged active student participation during sessions.

Professor Sunil Sarangi delivered the road safety segment presentation. He teaches at XLRI Jamshedpur currently. Besides, he shared insights on communication sciences.

The professor also discussed behavioral science applications. His presentation focused on practical safety measures. In addition, cognitive behavior aspects received detailed attention.

Abhay Ranjan conducted the fire safety training portion efficiently. He serves as Senior Manager, Fire Technology. Meanwhile, his expertise benefited all participants significantly.

Moon Mitra explained the program’s target audience. She serves as SAFE’s convener for initiatives. However, classes IX through XII students remained primary focus.

Parents received equal attention in the program. SAFE coordinators also participated throughout the session. On the other hand, similar programs continue regularly.

Students engaged actively during question-answer sessions. Faculty members addressed various safety queries raised. Furthermore, clarifications helped enhance overall understanding considerably.

SAFE operates in 32 Jamshedpur schools currently. Four schools in Jharia joined the network. Besides, seven schools under OMQ participate actively.

West Bokaro Division includes seven participating schools. Ruchi Narendran chairs this division’s safety initiatives. Moreover, Tata Steel supports the structured program.

The company implements an annual safety plan. School communities benefit from continuous awareness efforts. Additionally, training sessions occur throughout the year systematically.

Previous programs included CPR training at Kerala Samajam. Bus driver workshops occurred at Loyola School. Furthermore, Good Samaritan Law sessions addressed legal awareness effectively.
