The 12th edition will bring together 2,500 participants. They represent 153 tribes from 26 states and Union Territories. Moreover, the conclave aims to cover nearly 50% of India’s tribal representation.

Since 2014, Samvaad has connected over 43,500 people. These individuals come from 333 tribes across India. The platform has evolved into a unique ecosystem of tribal identity.

Tribal elders from Jharkhand will jointly inaugurate the event at 6 p.m. Senior leadership of Tata Steel Foundation will join them. Additionally, nine children from tribal communities will participate in the ceremony.

Each day features two distinct segments. Mornings are dedicated to dialogue across multiple venues. However, evenings converge at Gopal Maidan for cultural performances.

The venue will showcase 51 outlets of tribal handicrafts. Furthermore, 30 stalls will focus on tribal healing practices. These displays offer an immersive experience of tribal knowledge.
