Postal Ballots to Be Counted First with Three-Tier Security Arrangement

JAMSHEDPUR – Vote counting for the Ghatshila assembly seat will begin on November 14 at 8 AM, determining the constituency’s next representative.

Jamshedpur Co-operative College will host the counting process. Twenty tables have been arranged for the exercise. Moreover, counting will continue through 15 rounds.

Service voter ballots will be counted first. Ghatshila assembly election saw 118 polling personnel vote through postal ballots. However, the administration provided this facility within premises.

Three hundred officials will manage counting at centers. The process will handle ballots from polling booths. Besides, strict protocols will be followed throughout.

CISF personnel form the first security layer. JAP forces comprise the second tier of protection. On the other hand, district police complete the third level.

CCTV cameras monitor the strong room continuously. Surveillance operates round the clock without interruption. Additionally, authorized party agents have separate observation arrangements.

Political party camps are set up outside. Workers remain present throughout the day and night. Meanwhile, anticipation builds as results approach.

JMM candidate Somesh Soren remains at the camp continuously. He expressed confidence about his victory. Furthermore, he stays with party workers constantly.

Soren stated his win is certain. He feels completely confident about the outcome. However, he noted celebrations won’t be elaborate.

The candidate said this isn’t a joyous victory. Therefore, preparations remain subdued in nature. Besides, party workers show considerable enthusiasm despite this.

Workers maintain high spirits at the camp. They remain engaged in various activities. In addition, coordination efforts continue among team members.

NDA predictions and BJP accusations marked the campaign period. Star campaigners from multiple parties addressed rallies. Meanwhile, Odisha CM campaigned for opposition candidates.
