The Leader of Opposition highlighted increased voter participation this time. He said the numbers indicate public disillusionment with the Hemant government. Moreover, voters have rejected false promises made by the ruling dispensation.
Allegations Against JMM Workers
Marandi accused JMM workers of intimidation tactics during early voting hours. He claimed they attempted to threaten and frighten voters initially. Nevertheless, alert BJP workers ensured smooth polling alongside election officials.
The BJP state chief praised party activists for their vigilance. On the other hand, he criticized opposition attempts to disrupt the democratic process. The Election Commission’s supervision prevented any untoward incidents, he added.
