JAMSHEDPUR – JLKM supremo and Dumri MLA Jayram Mahto raised the outsider-insider slogan again at Ghatshila bypoll nomination rally.

He attended the nomination filing of party candidate Ramdas Murmu. Moreover, he addressed a large gathering of supporters. Besides, he launched sharp attacks on BJP nominee.

Jayram Mahto appealed voters not to make raja’s son a raja. He urged the crowd to exercise franchise wisely. Furthermore, he asked them to vote for Ramdas Murmu.

“The Constitution gives voting rights to people,” he said. In addition, he stressed that citizens should elect representatives wisely. Moreover, he said voters should choose in their interest.

The JLKM chief directly attacked former Chief Minister Champai Soren. He accused him of taking false credit on tribal matters. Besides, he questioned his contribution to the community.

Champai Soren is the father of BJP candidate Babulal Soren. On the other hand, he previously served as Jharkhand Chief Minister. However, Jayram Mahto challenged his tribal credentials.

The Dumri MLA called Babulal Soren a coward. He also termed him incompetent for the position. Furthermore, he questioned his ability to represent Ghatshila.

Jayram Mahto emphasized the outsider-insider narrative in his speech. This has become JLKM’s key campaign theme. Moreover, the party is banking on local sentiment.

The JLKM is contesting the Ghatshila bypoll independently. Ramdas Murmu is their candidate. Besides, the party is hoping to capitalize on regional identity.

The bypoll was necessitated after the seat fell vacant. Multiple parties are contesting for the constituency. In addition, the election has become a prestige battle.
