Shraboni Das Directs Bharatanatyam and Creative Dance Presentation

KOLKATA – A cultural evening in Uttarpara featured students of Bali Mayuri Dance Academy presenting patriotic compositions of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The group performance was staged at Ganabhavan on September 1. It was hosted by Chandrakala Dance Academy. However, the choreography was created by Bharatanatyam dancer and academy director Shraboni Das.
The performers included Adrija Reet, Diya Debnath, Roshmi Dey, Ishani Mukherjee, Shri Sarkar, Aranya Roy, Ishita Dutta, and Preeti Das. Moreover, their performance received loud applause from the audience.
Bali Mayuri Dance Academy was established in 2005 by Shraboni Das. The institution is registered under the Societies Act and recognized as a voluntary organization by the Government of India.
In addition, it is affiliated with Bangiya Sangeet Parishad and Kolkata Charukala Society. Students there receive training in Bharatanatyam, creative dance, and Rabindra Nritya.
A local cultural enthusiast present at the event said, “The students displayed impressive coordination and discipline on stage.”
