JAMSHEDPUR – The 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas was commemorated Saturday at Golmuri Shaheed Memorial with a tribute ceremony honoring fallen heroes.

The All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council organized the event. However, participants gathered to remember soldiers’ ultimate sacrifice. Moreover, the ceremony emphasized national gratitude towards martyrs.

Social worker Shiv Shankar Singh attended as chief guest. He offered floral tributes at the martyrs’ statue. Furthermore, his presence highlighted community respect for armed forces.

Retired military personnel participated in large numbers. Local citizens also joined the commemorative gathering. In addition, young students and volunteer organization members attended respectfully.

Singh delivered an emotional address during the ceremony. “Kargil Vijay Diwas represents not only military strength,” he stated. However, he emphasized patriotism, sacrifice and valor aspects.

The memorial service honored soldiers who died defending borders. Participants observed moments of silence respectfully. Meanwhile, the gathering reflected on heroes’ contributions.
