Sakla Mardi Threatens State Office Demonstration Against Party Decision

Key Points:

  • Baiju Yadav appointed district president despite local opposition growing
  • Sakla Mardi plans protest at state office during monsoon session
  • Seraikela-Kharsawan remains scheduled tribal reserved constituency seat

SERAIKELA – Rashtriya Janata Dal faces internal protests in Seraikela-Kharsawan district following controversial appointment of Baiju Yadav as district president by state leadership.

Opposition voices within the party have grown stronger recently. The announcement of district presidents across Jharkhand triggered widespread dissent. Moreover, local leaders question the selection process openly.

Factional disputes among RJD leaders reached peak levels currently. State high command’s directive to appoint Baiju Yadav faces resistance. However, party workers express concerns about the decision.

Seraikela-Kharsawan district holds scheduled status under constitutional provisions. The constituency remains reserved for tribal communities exclusively. Furthermore, local representation becomes crucial for electoral success.

Sakla Mardi emerged as an important party face previously. He built significant organizational strength across the district. On the other hand, party leadership sidelined him completely.

The sidelined leader expressed clear intentions regarding future protests. He plans to demonstrate at state office in Ranchi. In addition, monsoon session period will witness organized opposition.

Sakla Mardi threatened to approach national leadership if ignored. He will meet Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejasvi Prasad Yadav. Meanwhile, his grievances remain unaddressed by state officials.

State leadership has not contacted Sakla after the announcement. No alternative position was offered to the veteran leader. Furthermore, party communication channels appear completely closed for him.

Organizational data reveals stark differences between both leaders’ contributions. Sakla developed over 72 active workers across all blocks. However, Baiju Yadav has not created any active workforce.

The appointment raises questions about party’s selection criteria. Local workers express disappointment over leadership choices. Moreover, tribal representation concerns add complexity to the situation.
