SERAIKELA – Two trailers collided head-on near Shen International School in Kandra police station area on Wednesday morning, trapping one driver inside the damaged cabin.

The accident occurred when both heavy vehicles approached at high speed. A trailer carrying iron ore from Seraikela direction collided with an empty trailer. However, the impact severely damaged both vehicles in the process.

Local residents immediately informed police about the serious accident. Rescue teams arrived at the scene with specialized equipment for assistance. Moreover, police deployed hydra crane services to extract the trapped driver safely.

The iron ore-laden trailer suffered extensive front-end damage during collision. The empty trailer from Kandra direction also sustained significant structural damage. Besides, debris scattered across the road creating additional hazards for traffic.

Emergency response teams worked systematically to free the trapped driver. Rescue operations required careful coordination to prevent further injuries during extraction. On the other hand, medical assistance remained on standby throughout the operation.

The accident site near Shen International School caused major traffic disruption. Long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the road. Furthermore, commuters faced significant delays due to blocked traffic movement.
