JAMSHEDPUR – Police have arrested three individuals in connection with a gold ring theft at a jewelry store in Kadma market, with the shop owner’s brother emerging as the alleged mastermind.

The incident occurred at a jewelry store in Kadma Bazar. Three youth entered the establishment posing as customers. However, their actual intention was entirely different.

CCTV cameras recorded the entire theft operation clearly. The footage shows coordinated planning between the suspects. One youth engaged the shop owner in conversation about rings.

Meanwhile, his accomplice seized the opportunity effectively. The second suspect managed to steal the gold ring discreetly. The third member acted as a lookout during the operation.

The theft came to light during inventory counting. The shop owner discovered the missing gold ring then. Moreover, he immediately filed a complaint at Kadma police station.

Police launched an investigation based on the CCTV evidence. The clear footage helped identify the three suspects quickly. Subsequently, officers tracked them to Tatanagar railway station.

All three youth were arrested from the station premises. However, their interrogation revealed a shocking twist in the case. The suspects claimed the shop owner’s brother orchestrated the theft.

According to the arrested individuals, he instructed them to commit the crime. Police have now taken the shop owner’s brother into custody. Furthermore, investigators are examining his possible involvement thoroughly.

The stolen gold ring remains missing currently. Police are conducting searches to recover the valuable item. Additionally, they are investigating whether this was an isolated incident.

Local residents expressed concern about increasing theft cases. A knowledgeable source mentioned that such inside jobs are becoming common. “Trust between family members is breaking down,” an expert observed.
