MEDININAGAR – A Palamu resident lost her life in a Prayagraj Mahakumbh stampede today.

The deceased was identified as Gayatri Devi from Tolra village. She was sixty.

Meanwhile, her sister Tetri Devi from Garhwa sustained serious injuries.

The tragedy occurred in early morning hours. Local police confirmed the identities.

Moreover, both women were visiting Prayagraj for Mahakumbh 2025. They traveled together.

The deceased belonged to Tolra village under Rehla jurisdiction. Police initiated procedures.
