IRB Women’s Platoon Secures First Position in Republic Day Parade

Parade at Police Stadium Honors Excellence with Awards

MEDININAGAR – The Republic Day celebrations at the Police Stadium in Medininagar featured a vibrant parade showcasing precision and discipline. Under the supervision of Sergeant Major Suresh Ojha, the parade was conducted smoothly, with Sanjay Tripathi leading the band performance by BCC Mission Girls’ High School, playing national tunes.

Recognition for Outstanding Performers

State Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore inspected the parade and presented awards. The IRB Women’s Platoon was awarded first prize, followed by Sant Xavier Academy in second place and the District Armed Force (Men) securing third. The platoon commanders, including Ajay Kumar, Sakshi Ojha, and Manoj Dubey, received mementos, certificates, and saplings as tokens of appreciation.

Inclusive Participation in the Parade

Several units, including JAP, District Armed Force (Women), Home Guard (Women), and NCC units from Girivar Inter-Level School and Brahman Plus Two School, participated in the parade. Platoons from BCC Mission Girls’ School and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School also showcased commendable discipline.

Special Recognition for Band and Anthem Teams

Students from CM Excellence Girls’ School (KG School) were awarded for their performance of the national anthem. The band from BCC Mission School received accolades for their musical contribution to the event.

The ceremony emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and patriotism while honoring the efforts of all participants.
