MEDININAGAR – The 128th birth anniversary of India’s freedom struggle hero, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, was commemorated with great reverence across Palamu on Thursday. Various political and social organizations gathered at Subhas Chowk to honor his memory.

Members of the Aam Aadmi Party, IPTA, Bengali Society, Congress, and CPI paid floral tributes to Netaji’s statue. AAP district president Chandrabali Choubey highlighted Netaji’s patriotism and his efforts to inspire youth to join the independence movement.

Cultural Events Celebrate Netaji’s Legacy

Cultural groups like IPTA and Masoom Art Group performed revolutionary songs that resonated with Bose’s vision and values. Leaders and citizens, including 20-point program vice-chairperson Vimla Kumari and CPI district secretary Ruchir Tiwari, emphasized the relevance of Netaji’s ideas today. “His vision can guide the nation to progress,” said Tiwari.

Programs Across the City

Bengali Committee hosted an event at their library to reflect on Bose’s principles. Speakers like Ashish Dashgupta and Partha Pratim Gupta shared insights into his inspirational life.

Attendees, including prominent local figures like Prem Prakash and Sanjit Dubey, lauded the significance of Netaji’s teachings in fostering unity and patriotism among youth.
