JAMSHEDPUR – Renowned singer Sonu Nigam mesmerized nearly 10,000 fans at XLRI’s Maxi Fair 2025, delivering a spectacular performance under the stars.

The maestro kicked off his performance with “Aaj Kal Kyon.” Meanwhile, the crowd erupted in thunderous applause.

Moreover, the singer kept the energy high with hits like “Deewana Main Hoon.” His rendition of “Agar Kahun Tumsa Haseen” drew loud cheers.

Research and Innovation

The fair, launched in 1979, serves as a unique consumer behavior study platform. “This event perfectly blends entertainment with market research,” remarked a senior faculty member.

Second-year students lead the organization efforts. Meanwhile, first-years provide support in various roles.

Singer Nikhil D’Souza performed on the first day. The event featured twenty food stalls offering diverse cuisines.

Moreover, competitions like Miss and Mr. Jamshedpur attracted participants. Winners received prizes worth approximately ₹5 lakh.

Security Measures

The organizers implemented a three-gate entry system. However, massive crowds gathered by 6 PM.

Meanwhile, police and private security ensured smooth operations. The Marine Drive gate served XLRI staff.
