Facilities to Enhance Education and Healthcare
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sardar Gurpreet Singh, head of Ludhiana-based organization Manukhta Di Seva. The newly constructed classrooms will support the free coaching initiative under the Sikh Wisdom program, which has been providing educational opportunities to students. Sardar Gurpreet Singh stated, “Our mission is to serve humanity, inspired by the teachings of our Guru.”
Health Services for the Community
Alongside the classrooms, a health facility was also launched. The center will operate every day, offering consultations with specialist doctors for patients. SGPC President Sardar Bhagwan Singh expressed joy, saying, “This is a step toward reviving Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s vision of education and healthcare for all.”
Community’s Positive Response
The initiative has brought joy to the local Sikh community. Sardar Bhagwan Singh emphasized, “While Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s concept of langar for food flourished, the education and health langar were left behind. Now, we are fulfilling this vision.”
The efforts of SGPC over the last two years reflect their commitment to social welfare, resonating with Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s principles of service and inclusivity.
