JAMSHEDPUR – Private schools in Jamshedpur have set dates for their entry-level admission lotteries, with Kerala Samajam Model School taking the lead on January 4. While the district education officer initially directed schools to hold lotteries between January 6 and 17, an exception was granted to Kerala Samajam Model School due to prior arrangements.

Admission Guidelines

  • 75% of seats, in addition to reserved ones, will be allocated via transparent lotteries.
  • The lottery process will involve supervisors from the District Education Office and must be videographed.
  • Results will be declared on January 18 on school websites and notice boards.
  • All documentation must be maintained for future reference.

Certificate Verification To Prevent Fraud

In light of previous cases of fake certificates, schools have been instructed to verify birth and caste certificates of selected students. The entire process will be monitored by district-appointed observers to ensure adherence to guidelines.
