JAMSHEDPUR – The District Grievance Redressal Committee met to enhance healthcare services and streamline Ayushman Bharat implementation.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal chaired the review meeting. The discussion covered eight healthcare facilities’ operations.

Moreover, document verification issues affected payment processing. Officials identified incorrect beneficiary information uploads as a key concern.

The Civil Surgeon received instructions for payment verification. Meanwhile, hospitals acknowledged documentation errors needed correction.

Healthcare Infrastructure Enhancement

The administration plans to hire specialist doctors. Additionally, each sub-divisional hospital will get two specialists minimum.

Furthermore, the January 15 deadline aims to reduce patient referrals. The initiative will strengthen district-level medical services.

Rural Healthcare Focus

Officials addressed CHO and ANM attendance issues. Besides, sub-centers received priority for primary healthcare delivery.

In addition, MOICs must ensure staff presence at rural facilities. The directive aims to improve healthcare accessibility.

Hospital Management Improvements

The meeting emphasized facility maintenance standards. However, many centers needed infrastructure upgrades.

Moreover, officials discussed patient comfort measures. Regular equipment maintenance protocols were established.

“Basic healthcare facilities must reach every citizen,” stated a senior health official. The administration plans monthly progress reviews.
